Scattered randomly around the lake district are places where poets lived and worked, gardens where they wandered and were inspired, and the home of the remarkable 19th Century Artist, Author and Educational Philanthropist, John Ruskin, whose study windows look out over the unbroken vista of Lake Coniston.
